Job Description: We are looking for a reliable, hard-working Part-Time Packaging Technician to join our team on an as-needed basis. This is a unique, highly flexible position designed for someone who has other commitments in their life (like another job, school, or creative pursuits) and wants to pick up hourly work on a sporadic schedule.
When our packaging schedule ramps up, we need extra hands to keep the line moving smoothly. You will be added to our "on-call" list, and we will reach out whenever a shift opens up.
The work is fast-paced, highly physical, and repetitive. You will be on your feet for the duration of the shift, assisting with our canning and bottling lines, moving materials, and lifting heavy boxes.
Position Type: Part-Time, On-Call/Casual. Hours are highly sporadic and dependent on our production schedule.
Pay: $17 per hour
Prerequisites Required:
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and repeatedly lift and move heavy boxes and materials weighing up to 25–30 lbs.
Flexibility: A lifestyle or schedule that allows you to accept shifts on short notice or a sporadic basis.
Reliability: When you commit to a shift, we need you to show up on time and ready to work. Normal hours are 8:30-3 but it depends on the packaging day, type of package and other factors.
Teamwork: Ability to take direction well and work safely alongside our production crew in a loud, wet warehouse environment.

Packaging Technician Responsibilities:
Material Handling: Move packaging supplies to the line and stack finished cases onto pallets.
Quality Control: Pay attention to the product as it is coming off the line and look out for problems.
Cleanliness: Assist with cleaning, sanitizing, and post-run teardown of the packaging area to maintain strict hygiene standards.
Safety: Work safely on the production floor and always use the appropriate PPE.
